Ahhh! Did you make the patty by yourself? I’ve been searching for things to deversify my palette.

Yes! I made the patty from scratch. Equal parts lentils and carrots to make 3/4 the mix, mix in 1 part breadcrumbs (I food process an extra hamburger bun). Food process the carrots and lentils, mix with breadcrumbs, add eggs and a small amount of minced garlic until the mix is “sticky.” Hand form into patties, heat on medium in a nonstick pan for approx 4min each side without oil (for a slightly crispy outside). Easy! You can substitute other root vegetables for the carrot, depending on flavor, and if I was going to make it again, I’d add diced onion.

Bonus: this is really hard to screw up, because if it’s not sticky before going into the pan, you just have crumbs. ;D
